Florida Trucking Association hosts its annual Florida Truck Driving Championships (TDC) as an effort to recognize the best professional drivers in the state and allow them to competitively represent their companies. No matter what company you drive for, when you participate in TDC, we all come together as “One Team Florida” to represent the best in the state – and country. Class winners go on to the 2025 ATA National Competition in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

TDC is open to the public and family-friendly. We encourage people to learn more about the trucking industry and watch some of the best professional truck drivers show off their skills at the Ocean Center. For groups interested in scheduling a tour or media inquiries, please contact Alix Miller at alix@floridatrucking.org

DRIVER REGISTRATION

Step 1: Company managers should register their driver(s) for TDC via FTA's website (link below when launched).

Driver competition registration is $235/driver.
Late driver competition registration is $310/driver.

To compete at TDC, drivers must have a license and medical card that do not expire prior to June 16, 2025.
All company membership dues must be paid by May 31, 2025 to participate.

Please contact FTA if you need assistance with registering drivers or if your company requires an invoice.

Step 2: Following registration company managers will receive an email from FTA staff the next business day on how to qualify their drivers.

Drivers must complete the NTDC - TR 1-2 Driver Entry Form and submit it to their company managers. Managers will use this information to complete driver qualification.

Registration Opens March 7, Deadline is May 9th.

HERMAN FAUSS SCHOLARSHIP FUND GOLF TOURNAMENT

The day before the start of the 2025 Florida Truck Driving Championships, the Herman Fauss Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held to raise funds to support the program that provides scholarships to deserving applicants who are children and grandchildren of commercial vehicle drivers employed by FTA Carrier Member companies.
